Malissa Durbin, M.Ed., LMHC, NCSP
Founder and Therapist
Malissa is a licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 18 years of experience in the mental health field. She is deeply committed to helping women navigate life’s challenges, build resilience and achieve their personal goals. Malissa’s unique background as a school psychologist, adjunct professor, and licensed therapist provide her with an expansive skill set that allows her to support clients through profound change and growth.
Malissa specializes in supporting women of all ages with anxiety, chronic pain, and ADHD. She has specific expertise around stress resilience and nervous system regulation. Due to Malissa’s broad background, she has an eclectic style and pulls from various modalities to meet the needs of her clients. However, she primarily uses cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based therapies. Malissa is also an advanced Pain Reprocessing Therapy Practitioner.
Another area of personal passion for Malissa is conducting neurodiversity affirming and strength-based ADHD evaluations for children, teens and adults. She believes all people with ADHD can thrive – especially when given the right tools.
As a group practice owner, clinical supervisor and speaker, Malissa can express her deep passion and commitment to teaching others how to live abundantly and move from a place of “just surviving” to thriving. She feels honored to do this work every day.
When Malissa isn’t living out her professional dreams, she is enjoying time with her family. She has been married for 23 years and has two fun and energetic children. Family time means getting away to the mountains, boating, traveling, paddleboarding, or spending time on the family hobby farm. A few fun facts about Malissa are that she gave up traditional sports to become a boxer in high school, and that she loves experimenting and creating body nourishing concoctions in the kitchen.

Therapist
Aaron Crumrine, MA.
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
Aaron is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience supporting youth, families, and communities. His passion for working with young people—and the families who shape them—led him to pursue a degree in counseling and licensure as a therapist. He believes that healthy individuals are nurtured within healthy families, and that strong families build resilient societies. This belief fuels his commitment to helping clients discover hope, confidence, and healing in their own stories.
Aaron brings a wealth of experiential knowledge from his work across school-based programs, community family resource centers, and faith-based agencies. His clinical approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), blended with Narrative Therapy to create a conversational, relational style that helps clients feel seen and understood.
His work often touches many facets of the family unit, working with youth, parents, and marriages. Aaron also brings insight into the unique challenges faced by individuals navigating trauma within religious contexts. He has a deep compassion and a heart for the LGBTQ+ community, especially those who have been harmed by social or religious institutions.
As a clinical supervisor, Aaron finds joy in mentoring emerging therapists, helping them build confidence in their skills and discover their unique voice in the field.
Outside the therapy room, Aaron is a devoted husband and father. He and his wife have been married for 26 years and are raising four children, ages 14 to 24. He’s happiest outdoors—cycling, riding motorcycles, camping, and soaking up nature. And if you’re up for a good-hearted debate, try convincing him that any sport rivals fútbol: “It’s the only sport in the world—the rest are just games.” At 6’6”, Aaron may be hard to miss, but it’s his big heart that truly stands out.
